SIPTU has served seven days strike notice on Greyhound Household in Dublin.
The union has said members have been forced into the action after the company implemented a change in the terms and conditions of employment which contain up to 35% pay cuts as well as changes to sick pay and bonuses without the agreement of workers.
The strike notice will come into effect on Friday 27th June.
SIPTU has 70 members in the company which has a contract to collect household waste for Dublin City Council.
