SIPTU executive to discuss new Croke Park 2 deal

The National Executive of SIPTU will meet today to discuss the proposals that emerged from the Labour Relations Commission on the Croke Park 2 deal earlier this week.

The union’s 63,000 members rejected the initial proposals last month to cut premium pay, increase hours, and cut pay for those earning over €65,000.

The latest set of proposals will now be studied to ensure they suit workers.

Head of Communications for SIPTU, Frank Connolly, said the improvements do not guarantee acceptance by their members.
