Shots fired in Tallaght overnight

Gardaí are investigating after a number of shots were fired in the Tallaght area of Dublin last night.
The incident happened on Bawnlea Drive at around 8.05pm.
Gardaí said there were no injuries and no property was damaged.
The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination, and anyone with any information on the incident is being asked to come forward.
Meanwhile two people remained in garda custody overnight in connection with the murder of
Melanie McCarthy McNamara in the area 10 days ago.
The 16-year-old was killed in a drive-by gun attack on February 7.
Two men - one in his late teens, the other in his early 20s - were arrested in Athy, Co Kildare yesterday.
The funeral of the teenager will take place in London this morning.
