It is reported that a teenager shot in Dublin yesterday managed to make a 999 call to alert the emergency services.

It is reported that a teenager shot in Dublin yesterday managed to make a 999 call to alert the emergency services.

A 19-year-old man is being questioned by gardaí following the gun attack, which happened at around 3pm in Memorial Park in Inchicore.

The 18-year-old is in a critical condition in hospital. It is believed he was shot in the head and neck. Despite his severe injuries, it is understood he managed to call the emergency services from his mobile phone.

An ambulance was sent to the scene and took him to hospital.
