Shatter: No bad blood with Callinan
Alan Shatter has said there is "no bad blood" between himself and Martin Callinan.
The Justice Minister has made his first public comments on the furore that led to the former Garda Commissioner stepping down.
He said he had full confidence in every member of staff at the Department, but would not make any further comment on the issues being investigated by the Fennelly Inquiry.
But he says he hopes there is no personal animosity between himself and the former Commissioner:
"He was a very distinguished Garda Commissioner (who) achieved a great deal…I have already privately phoned him and wished him well," he said.
