Alan Shatter said today he will not answer any more questions about the Garda Tapes affair.
In response to a written question in the Dáil, the Minister said he won't discuss the matter again until after the inquiry by Supreme Court judge Niall Fennelly.
Shatter said it would be inappropriate to comment on how the affair has been handled while a Commission of Investigation is being set up.
The minister has refused to take questions from journalists since the scandal first emerged ten days ago.
