Sinn Féin will launch its LGBT rights policy document later this morning.
The party will outline ten key proposals aimed at achieving equality.
Among them is legalising equal treatment for prospective LGBT parents in reproductive and adoptive services, updates to incitement to hatred laws and setting a date for a constitutional referendum on same-sex marriage.
"It's important that there's no complacency," said Sinn Féin’s Justice and Equality spokesperson, Pádraig MacLochlainn.
"We need to work together to argue the case to ensure that we have full equality for people who love each other.
"We're talking here about Irish citizens - human beings - who love each other and want to make a full commitment in front of their friends and families. One of the centrepieces of Irish culture is the Irish wedding, and we want that for everybody."
He also said the party will address employment legislation and bullying in schools, as well as equality in accessing medical services such as blood donation and IVF treatment.
The official launch will take place shortly before noon today.
