Paul Moore (aged 46), of Mountjoy Square in Dublin, carried out the assault on the Romanian neighbour, wrongly telling gardaí she was a prostitute.

He has four convictions for rape and indecent assault, and was released in January 2009 having served a 10-year sentence for the violent rape of a musician he met in a Dublin pub.

Moore was released from custody today after receiving a five-month sentence which was backdated to August of 2009.
