A Co Mayo man with one of the largest collections of child pornography ever found by gardaí has had his sentencing adjourned because a psychological report is not ready.

A Co Mayo man with one of the largest collections of child pornography ever found by gardaí has had his sentencing adjourned because a psychological report is not ready.

James Clarke of Devlis Cottage, Ballyhaunis, had more than 135,000 images and videos on his computer.

He has pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to four charges of knowingly distributing the material from an address in Tallaght in August 2010.

He is to remain in custody ahead of sentencing on February 22.
