Security van robbers may be receiving insider information
11/08/2004 - 07:49:54Gardaí are reportedly investigating the possibility that the gangs behind a recent spate of security van robberies are receiving insider information about delivery times and locations.
Reports this morning said a gang led by two brothers from the Finglas area of Dublin was believed to be behind most of the armed raids.
More than €3m has been stolen during the robberies over the last 10 months.
Gardaí have set up a special investigation in an effort to halt the raids.
