A search will resume off Wicklow's Arklow coastline at first light this morning for a man who fell overboard from a local fishing boat yesterday morning.

A search will resume off Wicklow's Arklow coastline at first light this morning for a man who fell overboard from a local fishing boat yesterday morning.

The man is understood to be in his late-40s or early-50s and was one of a crew of three on board the vessel.

Arklow lifeboat along with the Wicklow and Rosslare Lifeboats and the Coast Guard's 1-1-7 search and rescue helicopter from Waterford were all involved in the operation yesterday.

Local fishing vessels will also assist today.
