Seach continues for missing Irish man in Thailand
05/11/2009 - 15:44:43A search is continuing in Thailand for a missing Irishman.
Michael O'Brien, from Templeogue in Dublin, went missing while surfing off the coast of Thailand earlier this week.
It is understood the 24-year-old was married to a Thai woman and had been living in the country for a number of years.
A massive search operation was launched when he failed to return on Tuesday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to his family.
