SDLP vows to continue upholding Good Friday Agreement
14/04/2005 - 13:17:50The SDLP has formally launched its campaign for the upcoming British general election in the North.
Speaking at the launch today, party leader Mark Durkan pledged to continue supporting the Good Friday Agreement.
He said the SDLP was plotting a steady course towards the future amid the bluster and blame of the DUP and Sinn Féin.
"It leaves the SDLP as the only party that people can rely on to take things forward, the only party that people can see has fully stood by the agreement," he said.
