Ryanair has today warned that its online check-in service will not be available from 7pm (Irish time) this Friday until 5am on Saturday.

The airline’s website and mobile app is closing for 10 hours for a systems upgrade.

Ryanair called on all customers travelling on Friday and Saturday to check-in online for their flight on or before Thursday, well before the above web closure takes place.

New bookings or changes to existing flights will not be possible during the web closure.

Ryanair said it is contacting all intending customers travelling on Friday and Saturday by email and SMS.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by this upgrade, which will further improve Ryanair.com, Europe’s largest travel website,” said spokesperson Robin Kiely.
