49-year-old Michael Kilcline was found dead at the farmhouse at Weekfield at around 9pm last night.

A post mortem is taking place this evening at Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe.

Michael is survived by his brother John. Fr John McManus is the local Parish Priest, and spoke about Michael on Midlands 103 radio today.

"[He was] very well-known and very well liked in the wide area," he said.

"It's a tragedy that he died so young - our thoughts are with his brother John at this time."
