Residents had to be evacuated from an apartment block in south Dublin today when the roof of the building blew off.
The incident happened at Sandyford View in Sandyford at around 11.30am today.
About 20 people were evacuated. No one was injured, though substantial damage was caused to the building. A number of cars in the area were also damaged.
It is not clear at this stage why the roof blew off, though today's strong winds are assumed to be a factor.
