Revenue seizes €154k worth of herbal cannabis from Uganda
Revenue and Gardaí have seized more than €150,000 of cannabis in Co Longford.
The officers seized 7kgs of herbal cannabis, with an estimated street value of €154,000, during a search of a premises in the Longford area this morning.
The drugs originated in Uganda, and a 46-year-old Nigerian woman was arrested in connection with the investigation.
She is being held at Granard Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
Revenue have said that the investigation is ongoing.
