Revamp needed to accommodate more Dublin councillors

Some €150,000 is being spent to revamp the four Dublin councils to accommodate an increase in the number of councillors.

The cost are mainly to reconfigure desks, conferencing systems, buy new desks and carry out maintenance works.

Fingal County Council meetings are being held temporarily at the Malahide Castle and Demense while the changes are made.
