Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Rialto.

Residents attacked as four men raid Dublin house

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an aggravated burglary at a house in Rialto.

The incident happened at around 11.30 on Thursday night at Dolphin House in Dublin 8.

Four men entered the house and assaulted the two main occupants, aged 40 and 33 respectively.

The 33-year-old received non life-threatening injuries and was taken to nearby St. James' Hospital.

The other man did not require medical attention.

Extensive damage was caused to the house during the break-in.

No arrests have been made, but gardaí in Kilmainham are appealing for anyone with any information on the incident to contact them.
