An experienced hillwalker missing in the Galtee Mountains in Tipperary has been found today.
The alarm was raised by the man's wife who was speaking to him on the phone before his battery died yesterday evening.
Valentia Coastguard, volunteers and two dog teams are involved in the rescue operation.

Jimmy Barry, from South Eastern Mountain Rescue Association, said: "Weather conditions aren't great. Low cloud, mist and rain and wind up high as well.
"But we are very hopeful of a positive outcome to this search."
