Newspaper reports this morning claim the Quinn family had contracts with Russian companies that provided for multimillion euro payouts for termination of their employment.
According to the Irish Times, documents taken from a damaged computer in Russia show family members of bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn were in line for payments of almost €36m each.
It says the computer records also show contracts providing for a termination payment of almost €15m for Sean Quinn Junior.
It is understood lawyers for the former Anglo Irish Bank want the Supreme Court to admit the material in an appeal by Sean Quinn Junior against his imprisonment for contempt.
Lawyers for IBRC, formerly Anglo, are expected to robustly defend the High Court's handling of the contempt when Sean Quinn Junior's appeal against the finding continues at the Supreme Court today.
