Report highlights level of complaints about disability services

More than 500 complaints have been made about poor treatment or abuse of disabled people in residential care over the past two and a half years.

That's according to outlined in today's Irish Times, which include allegations of abuse or assault by staff.

At the moment, there are no mandatory care standards or independent inspections of disability services.
