Human remains that may be those of missing student Karen Buckley have been discovered on a farm in north Glasgow.
Formal identification of the remains, found on the outskirts of Milngavie, has not yet taken place, Police Scotland said, but relatives have been informed of the discovery.

Miss Buckley, 24, has not been seen for almost four days since she was reported missing after a night out in Glasgow at the weekend.

A 21-year-old man was detained by officers last night and police said they are ”following a definite line of enquiry”.
The man was detained but has not been arrested. He can be held for an initial period of 12 hours.
