Reilly to examine and publish expert report on abortion legislation
The Minister for Health has said that he will thoroughly go through an expert report into abortion legislation before deciding the best course of action.
James Reilly was responding to Sinn Féin's Dáil motion this evening which called for legislation in the wake of Savita Halapanavar's death.
The expert report landed on his desk the day before news of her death broke and it is now also in the hands of both the Taoiseach and the Tanaiste.
