Record numbers accept first-round CAO offers
A record number of students have taken up CAO offers.
More than 38,000 college places have been snapped up in the last week. The deadline for accepting first round offers passed yesterday.
The acceotances figure is up almost 3,000 on the same period in 2010, meaning that three in four CAO applicants have taken up a college place.
