Rape Crisis Centre urges caution over festive season

The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre is advising people that their service is open over the Christmas period.

There were over 2,113 calls to their 24-hour Helpline for rape and sexual abuse during December 2012 and January 2013 alone.

Ellen O’Malley-Dunlop, the CEO of the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, has urged people to take precautions if travelling by themselves during the festive season.
