Quinn case adjourned for 13 days19/10/2012 - 11:14:13
The High Court has been told bankrupt businessman Sean Quinn has done nothing to purge his contempt of court.
The former billionaire and his son have new lawyers - and the matter has been adjourned for 13 days to allow them to get up to speed with the case.
Paul Gallagher, senior counsel for IBRC, says no steps have been taken to reverse an asset stripping scheme and reinstate property taken from various Quinn companies.
It is alleged he is in breach of coercive orders put in place last July.
Quinn was in court with members of his family, including his son Sean Quinn Jnr who arrived in a prison van from Mountjoy.
His three month sentence for contempt is due to expire while Peter Darragh Quinn, who is evading a warrant for his arrest, has not turned up.
