Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to hold a 29-year-old man in connection with yesterday's murder of Gareth Hutch.
The suspect is being held at Mountjoy Garda station, under section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The killing of the father-of-one is the seventh murder linked to the ongoing Hutch-Kinahan feud.
Gardaí have said two gunmen were involved in the attack on North Cumberland Street in Dublin's north inner city.
The Taoiseach has said he does not think he can stop the vicious and murderous dispute.
“This is a dispute between two families and it is a vicious murderous dispute and I don’t think that I can stop that,” Kenny said yesterday.
“From the Government point of view we can provide the resources that the commissioner of the Gardaí needs to have her forces deal with this.”
