Quangos, jobs and shopping centres on political agenda today

The abolition of quangos, job creation and shopping-centre canvassing are all on the cards for politicians and their supporters today, on day 12 of the General Election campaign.
Fine Gael is to announce plans to abolish 145 quangos as part of their plans to cut waste in the public service. Enda Kenny will also visit shopping centres in Dublin.
Eamon Gilmore will also hit the shops after revealing a new billboard ad that focuses on the positives in Labour's message.
Sinn Féin is to announce plans to allow entrepreneurs create jobs.
The Greens will canvass in their constituencies, while Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin will be canvassing in Kerry and Tipperary.
