Dublin Port Officials and Gardai have taken 11 puppies into care following the search of a car attempting to board a ferry destined for the UK.

Security at Dublin Port and An Garda Siochána discovered the dogs yesterday morning in a car driven by a woman without the appropriate veterinary and transportation documentation.

Dogs Trust Ireland are currently caring for the puppies.
