Public transport costs increase

Transport costs across a range of services are to increase from today.
Motorists will be charged an extra 10 cent for driving through toll bridges - however this does not apply to the M50 and the Port Tunnel.
LUAS tickets are to cost around 5 per cent more and Dublin Bus fares will increase by 10 cent for an adult and 5 cent for a child.
Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey said the rise is necessary in the current economic climate.
