A psychologist in the North has warned about a possible suicide pact involving up to 12 teenagers in Co Armagh.

Dr Arthur Cassidy has been working with young people from the Laurelvale area, where three 15-year-old boys have taken their own lives in the past month.

He says he believes up to 12 teenage boys have made a suicide pact involving agreed dates and assisted by research done on the internet.

He is advising parents to spend more time with their children and be on the lookout for unusual behaviour.

Last week, two young men from Dublin and Co Tyrone were found drowned in a lake in Co Tyrone after apparently making a suicide pact on an internet chat site.
