Detectives in Belfast are appealing for witnesses following an assault and robbery of a delivery driver yesterday afternoon.

Detectives in Belfast are appealing for witnesses following an assault and robbery of a delivery driver yesterday afternoon.

The man was punched while he attempted to make a deliver in the Rainey Way area of south Belfast at about 4.20pm.

Two men are believed to have been involved in the incident.

They are described as wearing dark coloured hooded tops with scarves covering their faces.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
