PSNI find cache of ammunition in Armagh
A cache of ammunition has been discovered in the North, police said.
The security alert in the Captain’s Road area of Forkhill, south Armagh, has now ended.
The threat from dissident republicans to members of the security forces remains high.
A mortar device was found in another part of south Armagh recently.
Police thanked members of the public for their patience.
All roads in the area have reopened and residents have been allowed back to their homes.
