PSNI charge two with terror offences

Two men have been charged with terrorism offences in the North after seven pipe bombs were discovered.

The devices were found when a vehicle was stopped by police in Dungannon, Co Tyrone, on Monday night.

The suspects, both aged 40, are accused of possession of explosives with intent to endanger life and preparation for acts of terrorism.

They are due to appear at Strabane Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning. The charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The devices were made safe by British Army technical officers who carried out controlled explosions.
