PSNI detectives investigating the abduction and murder of Jean McConville in 1972 have arrested a 77-year-old man.

PSNI detectives investigating the abduction and murder of Jean McConville in 1972 have arrested a 77-year-old man.

The arrest was made by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch.

The Belfast mother was kidnapped and killed by the IRA and her body was recovered in 2003.
