Protestors demonstrate against Poolbeg incinerator
30/01/2010 - 12:50:01Around 100 protestors have gathered in Dublin's Ringsend to demonstrate against the controversial Poolbeg incinerator.
The Combined Residents Against Incineration (CRAI) claim the Poolbeg facility is a waste of money. The incinerator will have the same footprint of Croke Park and will be as tall as Liberty Hall.
CRAI's Dr Rory Ahern said the incinerator was the wrong solution for Dublin.
