Protestant bishop hits back at O'Keeffe
23/10/2009 - 19:32:01The Church of Ireland Bishop of Cork has hit back today at the Minister for Education, Batt O'Keeffe as controversy continues over funding for Protestant schools.
This week, Batt O'Keeffe told the Dáil that the funding had to be removed because it was unconstitutional.
He also said he was willing to discuss the situation, but claimed that the Church Of Ireland had failed to come back to him with any proposals on addressing the problem.
Bishop William Colton has denied this.
