A Bill concerning illegal immigrants in the US may see the light of day as Barack Obama begins his second term.

Proposed bill to allow 10,000 Irish working visas annually

A Bill concerning illegal immigrants in the US may see the light of day as Barack Obama begins his second term.

The bill, which if passed would allow up to 10,000 Irish people a year to work in the US for two years.

The proposed legislation would also allow for undocumented people to apply for these visas.

Ciaran Staunton of the Irish Lobby for Immigration Reform in the US said that the Bill makes good business sense:
