Probe launched into Mayo house fire death

An investigation is underway after a 78-year-old woman died in a house fire in Co Mayo.

The incident happened shortly before 2.30pm at Ballyvary, in Castlebar.

The Gardaí have said the scene is being preserved pending a technical examination of the area.
