Pro-choice groups to decide on course of action
19/01/2013 - 08:45:57A number of pro-choice groups are coming together today to decide how best to campaign for legislation for the 'X Case' and for a referendum on abortion.
It is believed some people from the the pro-choice lobby may stage a counter-protest at a pro-life rally that is to be held this afternoon at Merrion Square.
Aoife Dermody from 'Action on X' said the new legislation must allow doctors to perform abortions in accorance with the 'X Case' ruling, when a woman's health, and not just her life, is at risk.
