Prayers are being said for Karen Buckley tonight in Cork, following her removal from Mallow this evening.
The 24 year old was murdered in Glasgow a fortnight ago.
Mourners came in their thousands this afternoon, queuing around the block to pay their respects to Karen Buckley.
Inside O’Connells funeral home were pictures of Karen as a child making her First Communion and graduating from the University of Limerick.
Pupils from St Mary’s in Mallow, where Karen attended secondary school, and nurses from Karen’s own class at the University of Limerick formed a guard of honour outside the funeral home shortly after 8pm.

The hearse then travelled the short distance to St Michael’s church in Analeentha, where requiem Mass will take place tomorrow at 2
