Poll reveals most voters in favour of refunds for those who paid water charges

Nearly three quarters of voters say people who paid water charges should get a refund.

An Irish Times IPSOS poll found 72% were in favour of refunding the money.

It also found that 18% were against the move, while 9% were "don't knows".

The survey found that Fine Gael supporters were most strongly in favour of refunds, while Sinn Féin voters were least supportive of the idea.
