Poll indicates two point drop for FG
Four out of five voters would back a change in our laws to allow for abortion in line with the X-case ruling according to a new opinion poll.
The Behaviour and Attitudes Survey for tomorrow's Sunday Times also shows less than a quarter of people are happy with the coalition and a drop in support for Fine Gael.
The poll shows Fine Gael on 31, down two points, while Sinn Féin and Independents go up a point each to 18 and 19 respectively.
There was no change for the others - Labour on 14, Fianna Fáil on 16 and the Greens on 2.
Satisfaction with the coalition is now less than one in four voters - down seven to 24%.
All party leaders bar Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore saw their satisfaction ratings with voters drop.
Asked if they would support a change in the law to permit abortion in cases where the life of the woman is at risk, 80% said yes, 14% wouldn't support it and 6% didn't know.
