There has been some bank holiday disruption at Dublin Airport this evening, after a plane was forced to make an emergency landing tonight.

There has been some bank holiday disruption at Dublin Airport this evening, after a plane was forced to make an emergency landing tonight.

American Airlines flight 155 was en route from London Healthrow to Boston in the US when a technical problem was discovered.

It was forced to turn back and landed safely in Dublin at about 10.15pm.

All of the passengers are safe but as a result of the incident, several flights have been diverted - to Belfast, Shannon and Manchester airports.
