A total of 27 jobs are to come on-stream in Galway and Cork, it was announced today.
Pharmacy chain Boots is to create the full and part-time positions in Galway Shopping Centre and in Mallow, Co Cork.
This news follows a further 60 jobs already announced this morning in the tech sector for Cork and Galway.
The new Mallow store employs 10 people. The Galway Shopping Centre has created 17 new full-time and part-time jobs.

“Galway continues to be a vibrant, leading edge location for business and seeing this city at the forefront of job creation news today is testament to this.
“We are glad to have more employment, and more retail choice, in our city, and we hope Boots and many other retailers will be expanding in Galway over the years ahead.”
Mayor of Mallow, Cllr Noel O’Connor, said, “I am delighted to welcome Boots to Mallow.
“It is a sign of confidence in the town that an international brand has invested and created jobs in the town and we look forward to working with and shopping in Boots over the years to come.”
