Plans for the creation of up to 200 new jobs have been announced by pharmaceutical company Alexion.

Plans for the creation of up to 200 new jobs have been announced by pharmaceutical company Alexion.

The company is to expand its operations in Ireland following the acquisition of a new site in West Dublin with a €75m investment.

Alexion says the investment has the potential to create up to 200 new positions within the company, while a further 200 construction jobs will come on stream as a result of the expansion.
