A Sinn Féin TD who was suspended from the party for voting against the abortion bill has officially rejoined.
Peadar Toibin repeatedly voted against party policy when he opposed the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill last summer.
He has now been officially re-admitted and will become the party's Enterprise spokesman.
His re-entry to the party comes only two days before the party's Ard Fheis debates whether to allow its members a free vote on abortion.
Sinn Féin TD Aengus Ó Snodaigh said "I am pleased to announce Peadar's re-appointment as spokesperson for these very important portfolios and look forward to working with him in the future on behalf of Sinn Féin and all those citizens we represent."
