Passenger dies after crash on rural Kerry road

Gardaí at Listowel are appealing for witnesses following fatal road traffic collision in Co Kerry today.

At approximately 2.20pm a male passenger in his 40s was killed when the car left the road and crashed into a ditch on a minor road between Galebridge Cross and Skeharerin near Moyvane.

The driver and a second passenger, both male and aged in their 20s, were taken by ambulance to Tralee General Hospital.

The road is closed and forensic collision investigators are at the scene.
