Parcel post delayed due to fire
An Post is warning customers of disruption to parcel services this morning, after its Merrywell parcel depot in Dublin had to be temporarily closed last night.
44 workers were evacuated as a result of heavy smoke from the nearby Ballymount fire.
The postal service said it has been working through the night to ensure minimum disruption, but warns that some parcels may be delayed by up to 24 hours.
